Our lovely Precious is now looking for her forever home with her sister Pearl.
Both dogs came to us when their owners were unable to give them the time they needed. They are still young dogs that are learning about life every day. Currently the girls are in a foster home where they are thriving.
Pearl and precious have been together their whole lives and are best friends that care about each other deeply.
Both dogs have very different personalities. While Pearl is the quieter, calmer one she is the boss!
Pearl has always been a little slower at meal times, so for this reason we would advise separating the girls when eating.
As Precious and Pearl are still exploring the big wide world there are certain things they still need their confidence building around. They are wary of some sudden movements and objects but will investigate when
encouraged and have settled well into the home environment on foster. They are also worried about traffic/ moving vehicles so will need continued training on this. They are almost toilet trained but can have the odd accident so toilet training will need to be continued in their new home.
They love the outdoors and going on adventures. They travel well in the car together with their seatbelts.
They love meeting people and have no issues with males, female or older children. They are also friendly
around other older quiet dogs. They enjoy playing with toys in the garden but soft toys are less advisable
as they are quickly damaged. They also love water but took time to be comfortable with the garden hose.
Previous and Pearls ideal home would be an active family who are able to keep up with their energy levels.
It would also be recommended that they are housed with children over 10 years of age or those with previous experience of young dogs as they can be very boisterous becoming the puppies they weren’t able to be.
These wonderful girls will make fantastic companions for the right family.
