Gordon, was a very nervous boy when he went to his foster home, after being born outside with his 4 siblings and a mum that was only very young herself, not having any real contact with humans, with the exception of the lady that found them, who was able to gain the trust of the mother and bring them into the centre.
Gordon, after spending 5 weeks in a foster home, has started to come around slowly and loves the companionship of his foster mums cat, we feel that Gordon would thrive in a household with a caring established cat who can give him the support and love that he needs.
Gordon is not your typical kitten and may never truely come around to being held and stroked, in saying this he loves to play with toys and cat wands.
Due to Gordon missing out on the love, strokes and fuss of humans at a young age, we feel he will need to be homed to a family with older children who will not seek out to play hold and make a fuss.
Gordon will make a lovely pet in the right home, where his owners are happy to give him the food and care he needs without wanting him to sit with them and interact with them. This may change over time but new adopters must be aware that it may not.
Gordon was born outside and may not be a cat that spends much time in the home, but going outside and doing his own thing, He still needs a family that can give him everything that he needs to be a healthy, happy boy on his terms.
Are you looking for a cat that will be independent once he is settled and feels secure, then why not open your heart and your home to this beautiful boy, let's give him the best chance of being cared for with no restrictions.
