Meet Woody! This handsome boy is an 8 year old German Shepard... Who loves playing with his toys, especially anything that squeaks and he enjoys lying with his favourite people whilst being brushed. Woody has made lots of progress during his stay with us and he is now ready to find his forever home who can continue his training. Woody had a very sheltered life before arriving to us so is slowly adjusting to the world around him. Woody would like a home where someone is around all of the time as he can become very anxious when left on his own. He enjoys going on walks around our fields and his starting to enjoy pavement walks as well (but he can be worried when noisy lorries pass close by as loud noises can spook him). He has no problems passing other dogs or people at a distance, but he does not want to interact with other dogs up close - for this reason he is looking for a home with no other pets. Woody can be very strong on lead so will need a home with someone who can handle him. Woody is on behavioural modifacation medication to help him cope with the stress of the kennel environment - his future home will need to be patient, and understanding that unknown challenges may arrise as he adjusts into the home environment. Woody needs a adult only and pet free home.
