Meet Rocky!
Rocky is a 7 year old Jack Russle who is looking for a special kind of home. He enjoys going on adventures in new spaces and his favourite thing is playing with his toys. Rocky can be sensitive to touch and is under behaviourist care for this. His future family will need to be dedicated to continuing the work we have been doing with him, with the support of a behaviourist. Rocky will not be able to go on furniture, which he has already been practising with us here at the centre, it is vital that his future family are on board with this. Although he is doing really well with this, it is imperitive that Rockys future home continues this as this is the reason that he has been returned to us on two seperate occasions. Rockys adopters will need to be able to visit the centre and Rocky multiple times to run through his training and also take part in a zoom meeting with the external clinical animal behaviourist overseeing his care. His adopters will also get continued behavioural support once he has gone home, from both the staff at the centre and the clinical animal behaviourist. Rocky is a very affectionate boy, however, he needs firm boundaries to help him succeed once at home. This lovely boy has affectionately developed the name 'Rockstar' here at the centre as he loves his training and picks up new things super quickly. In both previous homes it was reported that Rocky was very good with his toilet training. Rocky does have some skin allergies and is on medication for these. He will need a home free of other pets, and adults of 18+. We are looking for a very specific kind of home for Rocky. Thanks to his previous two adoptions we now know more about him, so are confident that with new boundaries in place, we can set him up for success.
