This lovely girl is Pepa and she is now ready to find her forever home!
As you may recognise Pepa is a French Bulldog and definitely lives up to her breeds name. She is a very energetic, loyal, and an affectionate companion. This beautiful girl loves to play with her toys (her plastic squeaky elephant is her favourite), short walks with her foster handlers and cozy nights in. Snuggling up on the couch watching T.V, who wouldn't love that!
Pepa has shown interest in other dogs, and with successful meets here at the centre, may go with other calm dog. Bear in mind that Pepa is very intense when meeting new dogs, she can stare intently, get very energetic and may be vocal. Potential dogs will need to be able to cope with these behaviours. Pepa is not spayed yet as she has recently come into season (12/01/2026) so she will not be able to go with entire dogs. Information about spaying will be given to successful applicants.
As Pepa is a brachycephalic breed, when she arrived to us she had very thin nostrils, which made it hard for her to breathe. She has undergone BOAS surgery and will henceforth will need to be walked on her harness, never her collar. Please also be aware that these breeds do not cope well in warm climates and can suffer from overheating.
Pepa is not suitable for cats and children will have to be over 12 years of age due to her very boisterous nature.
Please note that Pepa is currently being carered for by one of our foster team and the foster carer has said that she is fully housetrained.
Please note that the adoption fee for Pepa is £300.
