Meet Odin! Odin is a 2 year old Springer Spaniel who has had a very difficult start to life. Since being with us he has made so much progress and he is now ready to find a home of his own. Odin can be nervous of new people, but he has shown that he can form very strong bonds with his handlers. We suspect that Odin has never been walked on a lead prior to arriving to us, so his lead walking is a work in progress and he can still be strong at times. This handsome boy is very high energy and always likes to be up to something. He loves playing with his toys (especially anything squeak) and his favourite game is fetch! Odin is okay seeing other dogs out on his walks at a distance, however, he lacks confidence around dogs he does not know and he does become uncomfortable when approached by unfamiliar dogs. A home where he will be the only dog will be most suitable for Odin... Where he can work on appropriate socialisation once settled. Due to Odins history, he knows very few commands and his training and confidence building is a work in progress. Therefore, a home who enjoys training would be best for him. Odins perfect home would have no other pets and children of 12+. Odin is a very affectionate boy, and likes to be sat on the knee of his favourite people whenever possible!
