Meet our sweet little girl, Honey Patrice!

Honey Patrice is a gentle little girl with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. While she may be a bit shy when meeting new people, with time, patience, and kindness, she will show her playful and affectionate side.

Once she trusts you, she’ll want nothing more than to be by your side and especially curled up on your knee. She’s a true lap dog at heart and finds comfort in close company with her favourite people.
She loves her walks and does very well on the lead. While Honey isn’t overly reactive to other dogs at a distance, she can feel a bit unsure around larger dogs up close. That said, she might enjoy the company of a calm, and playful small dog in the home, though she’s just as happy to be the only dog. This isn’t a requirement for her adoption.

Honey also has a playful side, she loves her soft squeaky toys and will proudly carry them around, often teasing you with them in a sweet, cheeky way once she’s comfortable.
She's currently building her confidence through positive interactions with new people to help her feel a little more ease. She is also doing some work with larger dogs to help her feel more secure and relaxed in their presence. Honey does have a some separation anxiety and won't be able to be left on her one for very long.

Honey would be best suited to a loving home with children aged 5 and over, who are dog savvy that can help her come out of her shell and be her playful and cheeky self.
