Meet the wonderful little Faye! This lovely little girl has had a very difficult start to life which has made her quite nervous... She has made loads of progress since being with us but needs a family who will be dedicated to continuing her positive reinforcement training. It can take Faye a while to build bonds with people, but once she gets to know you she is very affectionate. She loves being around people she knows and trusts but she does like to give face kisses! We suspect Faye has never had toys before and she has only recently started showing interest in them, but when she does, she gets very excited! Out on her walks Faye can be unsure of novel things and loud noises, so she does need some confidence building training, her nervousness is shown through some unsure barking. Faye is also reactive around other dogs and is getting training for this during her stay with us, but this will need continuing in the home. Due to Faye's nervous nature, a home willing to carry out positive reinforcement training with her would be best, with no other dogs and children of 12+. Fayes coat type means she will need regular grooming and training will need carrying out to get her comfortable with this. Due to the nature of the kennel environment, we can not say if Faye is house trained. Support and advice will be given with all of Fayes training upon adoption. Faye is also on joint suppliments.

(We are caring for Faye on behalf of behalf of the Cheshire and Altricham branch.)
