This cheeky little chappie is called Bono! He is a stunning boy who would just love to have snuggles with his forever family all day on the couch. He is a little nervous when meeting new people for the first time, especially men, but with a little time and patience he will show you the fun and cheeky side we love here at the centre.

Bono is very food orientated, which is a good tool we use with his training. He can be a little snappy when giving him treats, which is why he learning some impulse control. Here at the centre we always train using positive re-enforcement techniques, so potential adopters will need to keep up the training. Upon adoption you will have a personalised training plan for him to help you as well as being shown here at the centre.

He loves having time out of his kennel by having a good mooch around in our social rooms, which he always returns for a lie down and cuddle. Bono is not a big fan of walking, he does like the occasional short walk where he can have a sniff in his own time. He is usually fine with walking along side traffic, however, is a little wary of larger vehicles but only when they are up close. So we recommend routine walks in areas that quieter so he's not so overwhelmed. With Bono not enjoying his walks we would preferably like him to go to someone with a garden so he can have the chance to explore on those days where he can be a little difficult.

Bono has a friendly personality with people and is not bothered about seeing dogs while he is out on a walk, from a distance. He did live with another dog previously so he can go with other dogs, however, this will be dependant on successful meets. As with being in kennels, we cannot be sure if Bono is toilet trained but help and advice is always at hand here at our branch. We recommend that Bono does not live with cats or small animals and children will need to be dog savvy and over the ages of 15 years.
