Meet our little boy Bertie!

Bertie is a gentle little boy who can be a bit shy when meeting new people, so he’s looking for a calm, patient adopter who can give him the time he needs to settle in. He’s incredibly loving and absolutely adores cuddles. He’ll happily snuggle up with you once he feels safe and secure.

He absolutely loves his walks and is always ready for an adventure! Bertie walks beautifully on the lead. While he can get along with some dogs, he’s not always comfortable around high-energy or overly boisterous dogs. With guidance and consistent training during his time at the centre, Bertie has shown he’s eager to learn and build confidence.
Although he can be friendly with other dogs, Bertie is very much a “people dog” at heart and would prefer to be the only dog in the home. He’d do best in a household with children aged 12 and up who are dog-savvy and respectful of his space.

Due to the kennel environment, we can’t say for certain if Bertie is house trained.
