Our Dog Day out scheme provides a daytime break for our rescue dogs  whilst they wait for their forever homes.

  • Enables our supporters to enjoy spending time with a dog without the full time commitment

  • Allows our team to spend quality time with our remaining dogs

  • Dog Day out dogs enjoy a welcome break from the stress of kennel life, lying in front of a fire or enjoying a nice walk or even some extra one on one training, gaining life skills

  • You will be providing the centre with valuable feedback which will help us when looking for their forever home

Dog Day  Out Testimonials

I joined the Dog Day Out scheme because I work full-time, but I wanted the opportunity to take a dog
for a walk and enjoy some exercise. Due to my shifts, I didn’t qualify to foster a dog, so this program
was a perfect fit for me. It allows me to spend time with a dog when I’m available and provide my
undivided attention.
I do a lot of walking, and I believe that taking a dog out for the day helps it escape the kennel
environment and get plenty of exercise.
I believe that being outside of the kennel significantly benefits the dog, as it aids in their adaptation to
new environments, ultimately facilitating their rehoming process.

A Joyful Day with Rosso

Rosso and I had an absolutely delightful day on his doggy outing. It was heartwarming to see him relax at home, explore new places, and showcase his true personality! We both enjoyed every moment and eagerly anticipate our next adventure together!

Purpose of the Outing

We decided to take part in the Dog Day Out program to bring some excitement to the dogs at the center. This experience allows us to observe Rosso's reactions to various environments, providing the staff with valuable insights to help him find the perfect forever home.
