Meet Poppy, a beautiful 4 year old calico with a charming personality and a gentle independent streak. She’s a friendly girl who enjoys affection on her own terms and isn’t shy about letting you know when she’s had enough.

Currently in a foster home, Poppy has been growing in confidence and comfort. With time and patience, she has begun to enjoy longer periods of fuss and will occasionally curl up on her foster carer’s lap, showing just how much she can bond once she feels safe and settled.

Poppy has a playful side. She loves to roll onto her back to show her tummy, but this is her way of inviting you to play rather than for strokes. Her favourite game involves chasing and catching a feather wand toy, which brings out her lively and curious nature.

She has been friendly with visitors, but due to her preference for controlled affection, Poppy would be best suited to a home with older children who can understand and respect her boundaries. She would also thrive as the only pet in the household, where she can enjoy her space and build a close bond with her humans.
