An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Animal Care Assistant (Maternity Cover) to work within our busy animal centre rehabilitating and rehoming animals.   This post will be appointed on a fixed term contract for 6 months and the postholder will be expected to work a full time working week of 37.5 hours a week (on a rolling rota which includes alternate weekends) and the salary is £20,320.00 per annum.  

 

The successful candidate will be expected to provide care for animals in the centre and support for those animals in foster care, establish good customer, supporter and volunteer relations, ensure administrative procedures are maintained.

 

Animal handling particularly in dog training and behaviour along with experience of working within an animal care/animal welfare environment is preffered.
