Meet our wonderful boy Lance! Lance is a 2 year old English Toy Terrier. This adorable little boy is very timid and needs to learn that the world is not so scary! During his time with us his personality is starting to show and we now get a little happy dance at tea time! However, he still has a very long way to go as loud noises and sudden movements can startle him. He's starting to enjoy affection, however, this is always on his terms and will be a work in progress. Out on his walks, novel things, as well as close passing traffic can be worrying to him. Although, his confidence is growing everyday, a home where he can go on quieter walks would be best. Other dogs can worry him when they get too close so for this reason he will need to be the only pet in the home. He would be best suited to an adult only, quiet home, with few visitors due to his nervousness. His future family will need to be very patient with him and understand that he has a lot of learning to do. A home with some experience of positive reinforcement training would be best for Lance.
