Layla came to us after her family circumstances changed and she was being left for long periods of time on her own. The adoption fee for Layla is £200. We quickly found a foster carer for her and below is what she has to say about this lovely girl .‘When Layla came to me, she was very nervous and would give a little warning snap but this was understandable as she’d had a major upheaval but she very quickly started to feel safe and became very affectionate and settled with no issues. Now her confidence is building, she is much happier to meet and greet new people, she loves to go for walks and needs an active person who can take her out but she will also snuggle up on my lap or alongside me on the arm of the chair. She gets on very well with my calm house dog but she can get wound up around other excitable dogs which can cause a little friction and a lot of noise. She loves to play and is extremely good on the lead and very good at coming when called. She just wants lots of love and attention and needs an owner who is at home more of the time and ideally someone who has had dogs before. Layla also needs a secure garden or yard where she can play and explore, she also travels well in a car.
