Meet our beautiful Butters! Butters is a high energy 1 year old Lurcher who loves going on adventures and loves nothing more than a long walk. She is a very affectionate girl, who loves a fuss and will roll on her back to accept a tummy tickle at any given moment, for anyone who offers her attention. She loves people, so much so, she can become bouncy upon introductions. She is improving with this, with training from her fosterer, however it will need continuing in the home. When she is over excited she may become mouthy, although this has reduced massivley during her stay with us! Butters is great with other dogs, and will be suitable to live with another confident, playful dog dependent on successful meets. Butters is looking for an adult only home (18+) due to her high energy and bouncy nature. An active, experienced family with somewho are willing to put time into her training would be best as she still has some manners to learn, further advice and training plans will be given upon adoption. She is very food motivated which makes her very receptive to training, which she also really enjoys! Due to Butters prey drive she is required to wear a muzzle on her walks, she is currently in the process of being muzzle trained, however the future adopters will need to be willing to continue this training. Butters can not live with cats or small furries. In her foster home she is housetrained, however, she may need refresher training upon adoption. Overall, Butters is one big puppy who still needs some help learning her basic manners, she LOVES walking and thrives in the presence of other dogs. Butters is very bouncy and can jump very high, a garden with fences of at least 6ft will be required.
