The weather stayed fine for our stall at the Fun Day at Hayhead Park, in Brierfield. A fun day was had by all.

AGM - A good night was had by all
Our new venue for our Annual General Meeting was enjoyed by members and guests alike. The setting - Whalley Abbey - proved to be delightful, the meeting room was spectacular and the refreshments delicious. We're hoping to repeat this event next year. A big thank you to all who attended.

Rotary Club Sponsored Walk - Mission Accomplished
An enthusiastic band of volunteers set off on the 7 mile round trip with dogs from Altham Animal Centre along for the walk too !! By the end of the walk some of the dogs were keen to keep going whilst the majority of "the team" had had enough. The grand total of £1200 + was raised thanks to very generous sponsors.

Witton Park Open Day
A great day was had at the Open Day at Witton Park in Blackburn. The stall was one of two events held on the day, that stretched our volunteers. However, the great sum of £174 was raised on the day.

Tesco collections a HUGE success
Thanks to all the volunteers that helped us in our collections at 3 local Tesco stores we raised the HUGE total of £3,875. All funds will be used locally to help local animals.
